You can go on a day trip along the ridges of the Krkonoše Mountains directly from the town centre, take the ski bus to Jakuszyce in Poland or try out shorter cross-country tracks around the town. There are 12 starting points in Harrachov which can be found in the attached map. It is possible to climb the mountain ridges via Terex, Kladova cesta or along the Mumlava River.
You can shorten your trip by taking the cable car to Čertova hora and then simply enjoy the peaks of the Giant Mountains. On the way you can get some refreshments at the buffet at Ručičky, Vosecká bouda and Dvoračky. In Harrachov you can use the so-called biathlon track or cross-country skiing terrains. This is a series of groomed trails leading through the forest, starting and ending in Harrachov. You can download a map of the trails here and obtain it in paper form at the tourist information centre. For those who still have some energy left in the evening we propose the trails at the Stadion which are illuminated daily until 9 p.m..
